Tonnex International is the newly appointed
Brother Hardware Distributor in Victoria

PORT MELBOURNE, VIC -- May 22, 2007 – As the printer consumables market continues to grow and consumer markets continue to expand, it is important for wholesalers to diversify their product range. This
diversification has recently resulted in Tonnex International being appointed as a Brother International
(Aust.) Hardware Distributor. This Distributorship compliments Tonnex’s 2006 appointment as printer
consumables distributor for Brother which they believe will help educate the market towards purchasing all
of their Brother stock through Tonnex. “We are excited about the appointment as it helps us deliver the best
possible products to the market at very competitive prices” commented Tonnex International Director,
George Solomon.

“As we (Tonnex) are continually growing and servicing new markets and Brother is building on their continued growth in their hardware division, we believe this will build a mutually beneficial partnership which we are looking forward to strengthening over time” Mr. Solomon added. The decision to create the strategic partnership was strengthened by Brother’s secure hold on their top position in laser printing devices and top 2 position in MFC sales recently. When asked about the decision to partner with Tonnex in such an imperative time in Brother’s growth in the hardware sector, State Manager Dirk Versluys replied, “The distribution channel is an important part of our business model and we appreciate the opportunity to work with Tonnex in the development of this business”.

After talks about the relationship Brother and Tonnex have built since being announced as consumables
distributor last year, Mr. Versluys replied, “Tonnex are a very professional enterprise. We (Brother) are careful with our business relationships and feel more than confident in the on-going success that we will both enjoy through this agreement as we have with previous agreements”. This feeling was shared by Mr. Solomon who said that “we (Tonnex) have always taken great care of the image of our business and the brands which we represent. Over our time in the industry we have a very good understanding of the importance of integrity and building partnerships for success.

The partnership will see the two companies working alongside each other with mutual promotional campaigns and the development and enhancement of the Brother brand to meet the changing needs in the marketplace.
